charms, trinkets and offerings is dedicated to my friend and fellow composer, Molly Frances Arnuk.
It was commissioned by the Jasmine Quartet and premiered in full in 2026
charms, trinkets and offerings is several movements about tiny hypothetical ideas, and magic. Each movement represents an offering or experience I’ve had that has stayed with me and found itself returning to me when I’ve needed it most.
Each movement is titled something that feels both surreal and hyperreal, dreamlike and tangible, but all have a sense of magic.
